Boarding Kennels

Evidence of current immunisation is required before admission. Minimum vaccination level required is C4. Dogs must be under proper control and secured by lead on a collar or harness.

Purpose designed for dog boarding, the kennel design covers hygiene and security concerns. Kennel runs are constructed from white colorbond sandwich insulation panel and are full height “walk-in” units, fully segregated, entry and escape proof, constructed as blocks of five runs, with each block having a security bay. Each individual run has a floor drain and trap so that no dog is exposed to waste from adjoining runs. Full height segregation prevents dogs being stressed by the dogs in adjoining runs.



Dogs are exercised out of runs, and dogs running “off lead” are kept safe and secure inside a chainmesh perimeter security fence. Dogs are kept separate, even during exercise time, to eliminate any risk of dogs fighting.

Management practices ensure minimum risk of stress, injury, infection, and escape. Customers can feel very comfortable about leaving their pets in the care of Berridale Pets Holiday Lodge, even for very long term boarding.

Veterinary attention is available at all times owing to the friendly cooperation of all the local veterinary practices.
